Party in the Park 2019 and Membership Drive – September 7th

The 11th Annual Party in the Park & Membership Drive welcomes residents from both the Glenwood and Meadowlark communities!

Join us for $1 food items (cash only), family fun, music, entertainment, and of course, the evening ends with an amazing fireworks display. Both communities have their memberships available for sale with cash or cheque.

Community league memberships offer perks around the community for families like:

Free community swim,
Free skating,
Discounts at city recreation facilities,
Access to community sports,
Discounts at some merchants and more.
Membership sales also help support the leagues in all that they do within the communities.

Ward 1 Councillor Andrew Knack will be hosting a public meeting regarding the rezoning application to build row-housing at 97th Ave and 158 St immediately following the AGM

The Rinks Are Open!

Update: As of Saturday, March 16th, spring has rolled into town and our rinks are now done for the year.

Rink hours at the hall (16430 – 97 Ave):
Mon-Fri: 5pm-9pm
Sat: 12pm-9pm
Sun: 12pm-6pm

Members skate for free – you just need to show your skate tag. Any Edmonton community league member with this year’s skate tags is welcome.
Skating is $2 per person for non-community league members

Memberships are available for $25 per family and include free skate tags for all members of the household.

Storefront Cinema Nights Are Back! – October 13, 2018

Hosted by the Stony Plain Road Business Improvement Area

It’s coming back! Stony Plain Road’s very own film festival is returning after a decade-long absence. Stony Plain Road between 151st and 154th Street will see short films projected onto storefronts along with the added attraction of unique light projection shows, large-screen cinema, Throwies, fire pits, horse-drawn carriage rides, a light bike parade, street performers, food trucks, live music, and a Beverage Garden . This event is free, and everyone is welcome
