With the warm weather finally upon us, we have noticed an increase in theft from vehicles in the West Division area. People are now outdoors more often and into the night hours. We would like to remind everyone to keep vehicles locked. If possible, park your vehicles inside a garage or on the street in a well lit area. Also, take all valuables out of the vehicle. Some common valuables that are forgotten inside vehicles are spare change, sunglasses, cigarettes, duffel bags and cell phones. If you must store items inside your vehicle, keep them out of sight. Criminals are opportunistic. Don’t give them the opportunity!
